Placed among the top entries in the startup zone at FOOMA JAPAN 2026
We exhibited in the startup zone at FOOMA JAPAN 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight from Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 June 2026.
Thanks to how people received it, we were placed among the top entries in the startup zone.

What FOOMA JAPAN 2026 is
FOOMA JAPAN is one of the world’s largest trade fairs for food manufacturing, bringing together the latest technology, products and services in the field.
Food processing machinery, production equipment, quality control, hygiene management — the breadth of what holds up a food factory is on show, and a great many people come.
Taking a stand in the startup zone
We exhibited in the startup zone, where startups with new technology and services gather.
What we showed was AI visual inspection built on our own Zero-Training AI.
With conventional AI visual inspection, collecting large volumes of images and doing the training can be a heavy burden at the start. But a factory has to keep adapting — to a change of variant, to a defect nobody has seen before.
We work on AI that is genuinely usable on the floor, to take away that kind of nuisance and difficulty.
What the fair showed us about factories
We had the chance to talk directly with a great many food manufacturers and others in the industry.
What came through again was that it is not only expectation of AI and digital transformation that matters, but the question of whether it can be kept in use on a real floor.
What a factory wants is not to have introduced a new technology.
“I want the operators carrying less.”
“I want quality control to stay steady.”
“I want the experienced people’s judgement built into something.”
Solving that kind of daily problem is, we think, where the value of the engineering actually is.
On being placed among the top entries
We take the result as a response not only to the technology but to what sits behind it: that we want to solve the problems factories have.
It is encouragement to go on building solutions that stay close to the floor.
Still the company that fixes the nuisance, now
Exhibiting at FOOMA JAPAN 2026, and placing well, was a big step for us.
It is not the finish, though.
We will go on listening to the people working in manufacturing, and pursuing AI that is genuinely useful rather than merely supplied.
